Library Activities

What's on at the library during the festival week?

There will be something on offer and special for everyone during the Festival week at Duffield Library; from colour themed family craft activities and story times to a pop-up archive exhibition and specially selected book displays.

The library will be launching our Duffield Library Mindfulness Colouring Group for adults and there is the chance to meet one of our Derbyshire Record Office Archivists during our ‘Ask the Archivist’ session. If you’re mesmerised by maps or flummoxed by family history or would like to chat about the bygone days of Duffield please do come along, you can be sure of a warm welcome.

There will also be a special collection of colour themed eBooks available to borrow from our website during the Festival. For more information about eBooks visit
